Concerned Black Clergy of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc., (CBC) is the primary, proactive and principle-centered organization comprising mostly of African-American ministers and laity. Our mission is to provide leadership, advocacy and service to the homeless, helpless and hopeless in our community.

6th President of the Concerned Black Clergy Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc.
Pastor Darrell D. Elligan is a native Atlantan. He is a Pastor "after God's own heart" with a purpose, passion and prophetic mission, a businessman and a community leader. He worked for 15 years in the Automotive Industry as a Projects /Programs / Plant Manager. He received his education from Atlanta Pubic Schools, Massey Business College and Georgia State University. He received his biblical education and leadership training from Beulah Heights Bible College and is a cum laude honor graduate. He was licensed and ordained into the ministry at The True Light Baptist Church. Pastor Elligan was called as the third and youngest pastor of True Light in January of 1994. “The True Light Baptist Church; A church where miracles really happen"; A Full Gospel Baptist Church. Pastor Darrell D. Elligan is married to Sis. Tãnya Elligan. They have one daughter, Tabitha.
Under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Darrell D. Elligan, The True Light Baptist Church membership has grown to over 600 members. His mission is to build ministries that will impact the needs of the individual, family, church, and community. He is the President and CEO of TLBC Lighthouse Community Development Corporation, which is a 501c3 non-profit organization that includes an eight week Summer Camp, after School Program, and a School for Parents component.
His outreach work includes a Food Ministry, Free Grocery Store (twice per month and a daily pantry), Free Clothes Give-Away (once a month), Health Ministry (Monthly presentations and annual Health Fair), an Athletics Ministry, open to community, to promote an appreciation for positive social interaction and understanding "TEAM" – Together, Each Achieves More and a Senior Citizens Community Club that meets weekly for bible study, fellowship and fun, seniors health education, and chair aerobics.
Pastor Darrell D. Elligan is the President of Concerned Black Clergy of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc., He was previously Vice President of Programs of The Concerned Black Clergy, serving as chairperson for the Annual Salute to Black Fathers/Mothers/Family. for several record breaking years. He sits on the boards of many organizations in the city of Atlanta. He was the previous Chairman of the Morehouse School of Medicine CRC Community Advisory Board. He was recently named Chairman of the American Heart Association's Cultural Initiative Committee. He serves on the Task Force of CETBA (Controlling and Eliminating Tuberculosis in the African American Community), Convenor of Southwest Hospital and Medical Center Community Partnership, and the Community Advisory Board of Organ Donation in the Black Community. He has received the “Chosen Award” as one of the Ten Best Pastors in the City of Atlanta, for the 1999 Gospel Choice Awards. He is also Arecognized as one of 100 most influential Black Clergy in Atlanta by Atlanta Business Journal and Outstanding Citizens Recognition by State of Georgia, Secretary of State Office each year from 1998 to 2003. He is director of Christian Education for the Atlanta District of Full Gospel Baptist Church. These are but a few of his accomplishments.
